The impressive hydrangea is suitable for every occasion. For the terrace, the garden, as a business gift and an opening gift, for a celebration or a birthday, or even a simple visit. It is also very often chosen in wedding decorations.

Hydrangea is a bushy, deciduous plant, native to Japan. The leaves are dark green, large with a serrated circumference. The flowers are in rich, spherical inflorescences that come in pink, white and blue-purple. The colour is affected by the pH of the soil. An acidic soil, i.e. with a pH below 7 will usually produce a flower colour closer to blue, while an alkaline soil, i.e. with a pH above 7 will produce flowers that are pinker. It needs frequent watering and good drainage, and in particular the water must be removed from the pot’s saucer. It must be protected from winds and direct sunlight. It is kept both as an indoor and outdoor plant.
