It is an erect shrub, native to Africa, with stems that grow upright. The stem is spiny and produces leaves which are deciduous and do not last long. Very hardy houseplant, and because of its specificity in terms of its morphology, it is a good choice for your home or office. Water when the substrate is completely dry, and in winter, when the plant goes into dormancy, watering should be reduced. If we keep the plant as an outdoor plant, then we must be careful not to drop the temperature below 10 degrees Celsius.
