It is a beautiful plant, from South America, characterized by its dark green, leathery foliage with white lines along its length. Philodendron Birkin, resulted from the normal mutation of Philodendron Rojo Congo. Very hardy houseplant, and because of its specificity in terms of its morphology, it is a good choice for your home or office. It prefers bright locations, away from drafts and direct sunlight. Keep the soil moist, but limit watering in winter, and make sure the temperature does not drop below 13 degrees Celsius. In spring, fertilize every 15 days with green plant fertilizer, in summer once a month and in winter not at all.
